|Şesan Yedek Parça A.Ş. was established in Istanbul during 1980s for the purpose of producing machining, pipe / folded profile, welding parts, and sheet forming materials for the automotive industry.
The first factory of Şesan was located at 4. Levent on the European side of the city, but the Company moved its factory in 2003 to its new location with a total area of 15,000 m2 at Gebze TOSB (Taysad Organized Industrial Zone) which has a high share of the automotive industry of the region for the purpose of being closer to its major suppliers.
Şesan gained strength from its partnership with Efesan Group in 2010 and it is now a supplier and solution partner of leading automotive and industrial companies of Turkey and the world such as Anadolu Isuzu, Mercedes Benz T.A.Ş, Daimler AG, Ford Otosan, Ford Motor Company (USA, Dunton, Ford Werke GmbH, Ford GetragTransmissions GmbH.), Karsan, TürkTraktör, Lord Italy Srl., and Bukh Marine Motors Denmark.
Şesan has shaped its new project with TürkTraktör factory early 2012 and it started to work on this project. In addition to this project with TürkTraktör Factory, the Company has also started its works for a new project with Italy's VM. Motori S.p.a. Company, which is one of the leading engine designers and producers of Italy.
In 2012, Şesan has also registered to the Manga and Caterpillar e-sourcing platform of Hitachi Group, Cosma International company and started reciprocal project works.
Şesan producesa large part of its molds, apparatus and fixtures which it uses in its manufacturing activity at its comprehensive molding room which has all types of equipment and experienced workforce it may need for this purpose. This capacity and competence of Şesan plays an important role in the Company's offering all of the parts it produces at a quality requested by its customers.Upon the management's decision early in 2012, the Company has started transferring its production capacity and power to the machining parts and pipe forming, and to welding parts and the Company continues its production activity in these two important main units.
