Similar to the rest of the world, iron and steel industry, known as one of the oldest industries in the world, is the leading one in Turkey, amongst all other fast growing industries due to a growing economy and increasing industrial production. Efesan Group took its first step to iron and steel industry with iron and steel industry with the manufacturing of construction iron and profile production by Süleyman Efe in 1972. Within the context of the growth strategy to grow within that industry and in cooperation with Turgut Efe; he subsequently founded Efesan Demir Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in 1985.

Iron and steel production, which has had a crucial role for many industries and sectors both now and in the past, will continue this importance in the future as well. Efesan Demir has a key role in Efesan Group’s maintenance of its activities and investments in industries such as casting, machining, real estate development and investment, construction and port management.

Having produced flat and ribbed construction iron since 2010, Efesan Demir has satisfied the needs and expectations of its customers without compromising on quality throughout the years of its operation in line with its environmentaly friendly service mentality. Based on predictions regarding the global market conditions, it now focuses its activities on the production and sale of project-specific cutting of construction iron (for use in columns), mesh reinforcement, stirrup, bent bar and iron square.

Efesan Demir also started the production and sale of FRR (bearing carrier) and STI (scaffold parts) in order to offer superior products and services of a wide variety to construction and machinery industry. It uninterruptedly continues its projects for the development of new products with new brands.
